The European Commission and the Île-de-France Region are glad to announce the joint organisation of a Cluster Policy Learning and Capacity Building event called ‘’Clusters driving the Green and Digital transitions’’, that will take place on 22 and 23 November 2021.
The event will focus on the role of clusters, regions, and cities in supporting the “Green and Digital transition’’. Concrete examples by the local cluster ecosystem will be presented also through site visits in the Paris region.
The ECCP will also present the state of play of the Policy Toolkit to operationalise the European Cluster Expert Group recommendations to leverage clusters for a greener, digital and more resilient EU economy but also on how to better use clusters as a strategic tool of industrial policy, interregional collaboration and for integrating SMEs into EU and global value chains.
The event will be exceptionally organised in hybrid format, with in person participants hosted at the premises of the Île de France Region in Saint Ouen (Paris Region) and remote participants. Agenda of the event is available here.
The event will be followed by a half-day Partnering Event for ESCP-4x cluster organisations, taking place on the 23rd November afternoon. Up to two participants per Partnerships will be invited to join the event, either in person or remotely. Additional information and a detailed agenda will be provided in the coming weeks.
